FACTSnet Summers are designed to help you achieve your goals in life as follows:

1. First of all we you want to move forward in your career.   As a result of our summer programs students have received reference letters for a variety of career advancements (jobs, scholarships, entering a specific academic program).  Here is a quote from a former summer participant who just got her first teaching job. "I'm just emailing you to let you know that I got the position at ... and it was due to, largely, your reference.  Thank you so much for everything!"
2. Secondly we place high value on developing you as a person.see FACTSnet Summer Personal Development Comments. Using the Google 20% model we allow you to use up to 20% of your time to work on career and personal development.  We also have Career and Personal Development seminars for both volunteers and summer employees.
3. We work flexible hours.  We work mostly over the Internet, with weekly team meetings and training sessions. This allows you to pursue goals beyond your summer job.
4. Each person has General Community Responsibilities. Specific networks can vary according to a person's interests.
5. In most cases summer jobs employees also have an additional Leadership and/or Professional Role(s).  This will vary according to your background and interest.
