The summer employee will be participating in a team of summer employees developing various FACTSnet networks, which are built on existing FACTS networks. Research, training and network development may take place at various sites within and outside the Spruce Grove constituency and over the Internet.
The job will involve working with our consultants, partners and volunteers in indexing Ambrose University College and FACTSnet heritage network resources, for use within our community and across Canada. Building on existing FACTS networks new new heritage networks will be developed as required. Based on the heritage indexing networks developed in this project, the employee will host a dialogue and develop a proposals for indexing heritage resources and heritage projects, to celebrate Canada's 150th anniversary. The employee must support our Value Based Medium including the values of our partners and sponsors, and work on projects with our partners and/or sponsors, as required.
Main objectives:
- To contact all heritage, K-12 schools and other organizations within the constituency to see what networking activities they are engaged in and find individuals and institutions that are interested in participating in heritage networks and indexing project(s).
- To develop indexing and heritage project proposals to prepare to celebration of the 150th anniversary of Canada becoming a nation.
- To set up indexing systems for heritage resources and
begin indexing resources.
- To provide opportunities for personal and career development of the student.
