FACTSnet has begun its recruiting process for the 2015 summer team. If you are interested in a summer job with FACTSnet, please email your resume now to factsuma@gmail.com to get updates on the hiring process, which is as follows:
  • TBA: Early Bird resumes due.
  • Immediately (see note):  Send your resume.
  • TBA: Information Session 1:  
    • CAB (Central Academic Building) 269, University of Alberta main campus. 
    • Email factsuma@gmail.com to join the session online.
    • This session will introduction FACTSnet Summer jobs including personal development and other benefits. In precparation for this session, see Why a FACTSnet Summer Job.
  • TBA: Information Session 2:
    • CAB (Central Academic Building) 269, University of Alberta main campus. 
    • Email factsuma@gmail.com to join the session online. 
    • This session is an introduction to CSJ (Canada Summer Jobs) funding, including special funding for people with disabilities.
    • We will work with you in writing your job description, for our CSJ application.
  • TBA: Final job descriptions due.
  • TBA:  CSJ  applications due.
  • December - January:
    • Look for additional funding.
    • Advertise jobs that are not committed to in our funding application.
  • A job competition will be held at a later date so it will be to your advantage to send your resume in early and come out to an information session.

NOTE:  Make sure you have checked out Why a FACTSnet Summer Job.  If you have missed an information session or a deadline, send us your resume anyway, we sometimes have positions open even in the summer or we know of other jobs that are available.
