- November 19, 4:30pm: Information Session 1:
- CAB (Central Academic Building) 269, University of Alberta main campus.

- This session will introduction FACTSnet Summer jobs including personal development and other benefits. In precparation for this session, see Why a FACTSnet Summer Job.
- December 3, 4:30pm: Information Session 2:
- CAB (Central Academic Building) 269, University of Alberta main campus.
- Email factsuma@gmail.com to join the session online.
- This session is an introduction to CSJ (Canada Summer Jobs) funding, including special funding for people with disabilities.
- We will work with you in writing your job description, for our CSJ application.
- January 2nd: Final job descriptions due.
- January 10th, 2014: CSJ applications due.
- Starting in January we:
- Look for additional funding.
- Advertise jobs that are not committed to in our funding application.
- A job competition will be held at a later date so it will be to your advantage to send your resume in early and come out to an information session.
- Take a look at FACTSnet Summer Team 2013 for more information on the positions held in the 2013 year, along with the recruiting information for 2013.

- The role you are interested in see Leadership and/or Professional Role(s).
- If you have a disability, any special support you may need to adapt to our working environment (We work mostly over the Internet, with weekly team meetings and training sessions). For example, we got funding last summer for an interpreter for a student who was deaf.
- January 20th: Final job descriptions due.
- January 31st, 2014: CSJ applications due.
- January - August: Look for additional funding.
- February: Advertise jobs not assigned in January.
- April: A job competition may be held.
