School/Community Network Summer Developer (Secondary)

The main tasks will be to assist our consultants, partners and volunteers in developing long term  networks (with and emphaisis on teacher training in Social Studies, English and Computers), within our community and across Canada, that work with families, teachers, students, parents, and seniors .   A special effort will be made to contact groups that work with, aboriginals, persons with disabilities, and newcomers to Canada and use French language.  Networks will build on existing FACTS networks and the development of  new networks as required.  The employee must support our Value Based Medium including the values of our partners and sponsors, and work on projects with our partners and/or sponsors, as required.  Research, training and network development may take place at various sites within and outside the constituency and over the Internet.

Educational Networks Summer Heritage Developer

The main tasks will be to assist our consultants, partners and volunteers in developing long term educational heritage networks, within our community and across Canada, that work with families, teachers, students, parents, and seniors.   A special effort will be made to contact groups that work with, aboriginals, persons with disabilities, and newcomers to Canada and use French language.  Networks will build on existing FACTS networks and the development of  new heritage networks as required. The employee will develop a pilot project for institutions involved in education to trace their history and the history of education in their community for the past 150 years, as a celebration of the 150 anniversary of Canada becoming a nation.  The employee must support our Value Based Medium including the values of our partners and sponsors, and work on promajects with our partners and/or sponsors, as required.  Research, training and network development y take place at various sites within and outside the constituency and over the Internet.

Community Network Summer Digital Archive Technology Developer

The main tasks will be to assist our consultants, partners and volunteers in selecting and developing  digital archiving and other technologies that facilitate archival digitiztion and the development of long term  networks, within our community and across Canada, that work with families, teachers, students, parents, and seniors .   A special effort will be made to contact groups that work with, aboriginals, persons with disabilities, and newcomers to Canada and use French language.  Networks will build on existing FACTS networks and the development of  new networks as required.  The employee will pilot test as many of the technologies selected and/or developed in preparation for archival digitization projects that celebrate the 150 anniversary of Canada becoming a nationThe employee must support our Value Based Medium including the values of our partners and sponsors, and work on projects with our partners and/or sponsors, as required.  Research, training and network development may take place at various sites within and outside the constituency and over the Internet.

Community Network Assistant.

The main tasks will be to assist summer team members, our consultants, partners and volunteers in digitizing resources for Factsnet networks, within our community and across Canada, that work with families, teachers, students, parents, and seniors .   A special effort will be made to contact groups that work with, aboriginals, persons with disabilities, and newcomers to Canada and use French language.  Networks will build on existing FACTS networks and the development of  new networks as required.  The employee must support our Value Based Medium including the values of our partners and sponsors, and work on projects with our partners and/or sponsors, as required.  Research, training and network development may take place at various sites within and outside the constituency and over the Internet.

Summer Community Network Archive Developer


The main tasks will be to assist our consultants, partners and volunteers in developing long term archive networks, within our community and across Canada, that work with families, teachers, students, parents, and seniors .   A special effort will be made to contact groups that work with, aboriginals, persons with disabilities, and newcomers to Canada and use French language.  Networks will build on existing FACTS networks and the development of  new networks as required.  The employee will develop a pilot community digital archiving project as a model for communities to archive the past 150 years, as a celebration of the 150 anniversary of Canada becoming a nation.  The employee must support our Value Based Medium including the values of our partners and sponsors, and work on projects with our partners and/or sponsors, as required.  Research, training and network development may take place at various sites within and outside the constituency and over the Internet.

Management and Francophone Heritage Summer Network Developer

The summer employee will be participating in a team of summer employees developing various FACTSnet networks, which are built on existing FACTS networks.  Research, training and network development may take place at various sites within and outside the Westlock Saint Paul constituency and over the Internet.  The employee will be the Francophone and Managment expert on the team and will assist our consultants, partners and volunteers in developing long term networks (with and emphaisis on Francophone heritage and managing of not-for-profit networks), within our community and across Canada, that work with families, teachers, students, parents, and seniors .   A special effort will be made to contact groups that work with, aboriginals, persons with disabilities, and newcomers to Canada. The employee will develop a pilot project for community organizations to network in indexing and developing francophone heritage resources as a celebration of Canada's 150th anniversary.   He/she will take care of payroll and other summer mangement functions and research resources for managing not-for profit organizations. The employee must support our Value Based Medium including the values of our partners and sponsors, and work on projects with our partners and/or sponsors, as required.

The main tasks will be to assist our consultants, partners and volunteers in indexing Ambrose University College and  FACTSnet heritage resources, for use within our community and across Canada, by individuals and organizations that work with families, teachers, students, parents, and seniors.   A special effort will be made to contact groups that work with, aboriginals, persons with disabilities, and newcomers to Canada and use the French language.  Networks will build on existing FACTS networks and the development of  new networks as required.  Based on the index developed in this project the employee will host a dialogue and develop a proposal for heritage project(s) to celebrate Canada's 150th anniversary. The employee must support our Value Based Medium including the values of our partners and sponsors, and work on projects with our partners and/or sponsors, as required.  Research, training and network development may take place at various sites within and outside the constituency and over the Internet.
