Mohammed - Business Student

During my time with FACTSNet, I worked on a number of collections as a Digital Collections Developer relating to career development. Specifically, I developed collections on career opportunities at the Alberta School of Business, and guides on how to improve essential workability skills. I have also worked on collections related to spiritual wellness from both secular and Islamic perspectives.

Moreover, I was part of the Administrative team and had the responsibilities of team lead, payroll processing, overseeing a large collection project that integrated the work of numerous employees, and creating instructional documents for future administrative employees on topics related to payroll and recruiting to help facilitate an effortless administrative process at FACTSNet going forward.

In conclusion, working at FACTSNet have allowed me to greatly improve my leadership, collaboration and data entry skills through giving me the opportunity of overseeing a number of employees as team lead, working closely with the administration team, and ensuring the greatest level of accuracy in every step of the payroll process. Looking back, I am grateful for all the challenges that surfaced during my time here, as without them I would not have had the chance to sharpen the mentioned skills as much as I did. Moreover, I have become well-acquainted with G Suite software and have acquired the necessary skills to proficiently work with its different tools.
