Personal Development Team

Peter — Digital Collections Developer

Peter is a seminarian studying for the Diocese of Calgary. He received his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Alberta, and is continuing his studies at Newman Theological College. During his work with FACTSnet, he was part of three projects over the course of the summer.
Anna — Digital Collections Developer

Anna is a student at Ambrose University who plans to graduate in April of 2020 with a Bachelor of Music in Professional Music. The primary focus of her studies have been in Vocal Performance and Vocal Pedagogy, and she hopes to work both as a performing artist and as a private voice teacher after graduating.

Leo — ESL Team Administrator

Leo is a newly graduated student from the University of Calgary. He received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering in June 2019. During his work with FACTSnet he acted as the ESL team admin and is a part of several projects including the Workability Workbook translation, ESL curriculum and website design works.

Lance — ESL Team Coordinator and Data Collections Assistant

Lance recently graduated from the University of Calgary. He received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with Specialization in Energy and Environment. During his work in FACTSnet, he coordinated and assisted multiple ESL projects including the Workability Document Supplement, ESL Curriculum, and Workability Workbook translation and instruction.

Celina — ESL Digital Collections Developer

Celina is a student at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) studying Culinary and Pastry Arts. During her employment with FACTSnet for Summer 2019, she mainly focused on working on the Workability document and Workability ESL Curriculum Project.

Richard — Tech Lead and ESL Assistant

Richard is a recent high school graduate who will be pursuing an honours major in computer science at the University of British Columbia starting in 2019. Coming from a background heavily rooted within technology, computer science, and mathematics, he is ready and capable of developing modern solutions to contemporary issues utilizing critical thinking and time management skills he has gained from his success in the IB Diploma program.

Danielle — Team Lead and PBF Project Coordinator See PBF Project 

Danielle is a student at Mount Royal University pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in General Science. During her term at FACTSnet, she helped manage projects for the PBF team and aided in administrative tasks.

Jing is a high school student who is entering her senior year at Sir Winston Churchill High School. During her summer internship she worked with the PBF team to scan and organize archives that will be helpful for future research.

Kari — Ambrose Coordinator

Kari is a student at Ambrose University studying Biology and Behavioural Sciences. During her work with FACTSnet she acted as team leader for Calgary and researched brain development.

J — Collections Developer/Admin

J has a background in Psychology and is a prospective architecture student. J worked as an admin and was part of the architectural collection project as well as the mental health project.

Tricia — Digital Collections Developer

Tricia is a student at the University of Calgary studying Environmental Science with a
focus on Chemistry, and Sustainability Studies. Her academics are centered on laboratory
practices and targeting sustainability issues through field and literature research. During
her time with FACTSnet, she focused on recycling programs and policies in schools and
businesses in Calgary, Parkland County, and Spruce Grove.
